TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie likes to say his popularity is good for the New Jersey Republican Party. Now he’s putting his campaign cash where his mouth is.

The governor will appear in three television ads, which begin airing on cable channels today, in three state Senate districts where Republicans think they can win.

The push also includes direct mail, robo calls and campaign stops by Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadago during the Christie campaign’s ambitious seven-day bus tour that kicks off Wednesday and runs through Election Day.
