NJGOP Chairman Calls For Legislative Action To Help Small Businesses On Small Business Week
.

Trenton, NJ – In the spirit of celebrating Small Business week and recognizing the contributions of small businesses to the economy, NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt is calling on leaders in Trenton to move a series of Republican legislative initiatives that will help small businesses.
.
“Small businesses are an engine for job creation and the backbone of New Jersey’s economy,” said NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt. “If we want to keep up with the rest of America’s booming economy, Democrats in Trenton need to stop imposing costly labor mandates like their $15 minimum wage proposal that strangle small business and kill New Jersey jobs. It’s time to institute some common sense reforms to kick start our economy and empower New Jersey’s diverse, small business industry to thrive. I am urging Trenton to pass the following Republican reforms:
.

S-2347 (Senator Tony Bucco ), Cuts Red Tape Regulations For New Small Businesses.

S-446 (Senator Dawn Addiego), Provides small business owners greater access to workforce development funds.

S-511/512/513 (Senator Tom Kean), Makes it easier for craft breweries to do business in NJ.

S-886 (Senator Joe Pennaccio), Lowers energy costs for small businesses.

A-1947 (Assemblyman Jon Bramnick), Cuts taxes for small businesses.

A-197 (Assemblywoman Amy Handlin), Provides tax credits to help make small businesses more family friendly by providing childcare.

A-2533 (Assemblyman Parker Space), Creates a 10-year ban on new regulations.”
