NJGOP Statement on Murphy’s MVC Disaster

“Governor Murphy has had months to plan for the reopening of the MVC, yet somehow we are still seeing shocking scenes of failure around the state this morning. MVC’s with five hour waits, traffic backed up on highways, giant crowds of people, and lines miles long. Just this calendar year Murphy has jacked up taxes, killed off businesses, and sent Covid-positive patients into Nursing Homes- the least he can do for us is run this piece of state government effectively after having months to prepare. Unfortunately, it looks like he can’t even do that. Thankfully, the people of NJ have the opportunity to relieve him of that responsibility next fall, and I expect they will do just that.”
