Program: Trump Surrogate, Nutley Commissioner (Councilman) Steven L. Rogers. Commissioner Rogers is an Air Force and Naval Intelligence Veteran and retired Police Lieutenant. Rogers gained national notoriety in the late ’90s as the cop who wrote himself a parking ticket. “Writing yourself a ticket is crazy but he proved a point,” “He’s a stickler for the rules.” Rogers also isn’t afraid to grab a “bull by the horns,” said Al Barlas, chairman of the Essex County Republican Committee.
