Beth Sawyer

Beth Sawyer

Beth Sawyer was sworn in as assemblywoman in January 2022.

Sawyer is a full-time real estate broker, operating her own firm since 2020. Previously, she was an executive for developer J.P. Orleans in Philadelphia, Pa.

She grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania. Her mother worked for clothing retailer Blair Corporation and her father for the United Refining Company. She moved to Gloucester County in 1993 after attending Penn State University.

Previously she served on the Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Committee from 2018 to 2019. She is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia, established in 1862 to oppose slavery and defend the free enterprise system.

Sawyer is a resident of Woolwich Township, and mother of two grown children.

Bethanne McCarthy-Patrick

Bethanne McCarthy-Patrick

Bethanne McCarthy Patrick was sworn in as an assemblywoman in January 2022.

McCarthy Patrick owns and runs the Cornerstone Grill Café in Carney’s Point with her husband Luke, and works as an EMT for Inspira Health. After 27 years as a firefighter and emergency medical technician, she retired from Pennsville Fire and Rescue, where she currently remains a life member.

Previously, she served on the Mannington Township board of education from 2018 to 2021; and the Salem County Chamber of Commerce board of directors from 2017 to 2018.

Born and raised in Pennsville, McCarthy Patrick lives in Mannington.
