Christie picks up more Democrat endorsements in Teaneck

TEANECK — Three members of the town council, all Democrats, endorsed Gov. Chris Christie Tuesday in his campaign for a second term.

Councilmen Yitz Stern, Elie Katz and Mark Schwartz bring the number of elected Democrats supporting Christie’s campaign to 48.

“We acknowledge that we may not agree on every issue, but New Jersey is a vastly better place today because of the leadership and accomplishments of Governor Christie over the past three-and-a-half years,” Stern said.
