NJGOP Chairman Samuel Raia’s Statement Celebrating The Beginning of Rosh Hashanah

September 24, 2014

NJGOP Chairman Samuel Raia issued the following statement to celebrate the start of Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of the Jewish New Year:

“As Jewish families across New Jersey gather this evening to celebrate the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, I’d like to wish them all a happy and healthy New Year. This special holiday is a time for those of the Jewish faith to reflect on the past, rejoice in sacred traditions, and look to the future with a renewed sense of hope. Tonight our friends in the Jewish community are joined by New Jerseyans of all faiths as we pray for peace and a better year ahead. L’shana tova u’metukah!”
