Ryan Peters

Ryan Peters

Ryan Peters was sworn in as an assemblyman in January 2018.

Peters is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in political science, later earning a law degree from Rutgers New Brunswick.

As a Navy SEAL he served on multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and currently is the lieutenant commander for SEAL Team 18 in the Naval Reserve.

Peters was a freeholder in Burlington County from 2016 to 2018, and served on the Mount Laurel Zoning Board from 2013 to 2014.

He lives in Hainesport with his wife, a daughter and two sons.

Joe Howarth

Joe Howarth

Joe Howarth has been an assemblyman since January 2016.

Previously, Howarth was a Burlington County freeholder from 2012 to 2014 – when he became Burlington’s deputy director. A resident of Evesham, he was deputy mayor from 2009 to 2011, and served on the board of education from 2003 to 2007.

Howarth earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Trenton State College. After a 17-year career in pharmaceutical and insurance sales, he now works with special needs students at Seneca High School.

Howarth and his wife have three children.
