Michael Torrissi
Michael Torrissi was sworn in as an assemblyman in January 2022.
Torrissi is the owner of Torrissi Transport, a fuel trucking company based in Vineland with more than 400 trucks and locations across the east coast. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 1996 from Rutgers University-Camden.
Previously, he served as a Hammonton councilman, in 2011 and from 2015 to 2020. He is a member of the Hammonton Lions Club and the Italian Sons and Daughters of America Lodge 123.
A life-long resident of Hammonton, Torrissi lives with his wife Katie and daughter Sophia near where he grew up.
Brandon Umba
Brandon Umba was sworn in as an assemblyman in January 2022.
Umba is the business administrator for Manchester Township in Ocean County, after previously serving as administrator in West Deptford from 2014 to 2015 and Lumberton Township from 2015 to 2021.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2008 from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While earning his degree, he completed internships in Washington working for Republican U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo from 2005 to 2008 and in Dublin, Ireland in 2007 working for Michael D. Higgins – then a member-of-parliament and now president of Ireland.
Umba resides in Medford Township with his fiancé Dana.
