Statement Of NJGOP Chairman Samuel Raia On New Jersey Republican Primary Winners
June 6, 2012TRENTON – Today, the New Jersey Republican Party issued the following statement from Chairman Samuel Raia congratulating all New Jersey Republican primary winners:
“Yesterday was a great day for many Republican campaigns but it was also a great day for New Jersey Republicans in general and I offer my congratulations to all the successful candidates, their families, and their supporters. There have been hard fought primaries throughout our state for almost a year but now is the time to come together as a Party, focus on what needs to be accomplished in November, and win.
“The New Jersey Republican Party is in a very strong position going into the fall and will aggressively support candidates statewide through Election Day. Governor Christie won in 2009 because he was able to bring both Republicans and Democrats together under the banner of common sense solutions and I am confident that our current group of Republican candidates will do the same in 2012.”
