NJGOP Chairman Samuel Raia On Governor Christie Delivering RNC Keynote Address
September 19, 2012Trenton, NJ – Today, the New Jersey Republican Party issued the following statement from Chairman Samuel Raia in response to Governor Christie being announced as the 2012 Republican National Convention keynote speaker:
“There is no other leader in this country better suited to deliver the keynote speech at this year’s Republican National Convention than Governor Christie and I offer him my sincerest congratulations. It’s no surprise he was selected for the keynote speech – he has unapologetically implemented the common sense conservative polices he campaigned on and they are making New Jersey a better place for everyone. From implementing historic reforms to lower the cost of government, to reforming education to serve every child in our state, to tackling the property tax crisis caused by the Democrat leadership over the last decade, Governor Christie has proven time and time again that he is the transformational leader he said he would be.
“The New Jersey Comeback is well underway but now it’s time for the American Comeback to begin and Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the right candidates to defeat President Obama and start the process of restoring America’s promise.”
