NJGOP Chairman Calls On Andy Kim To Denounce His Running Mate

Trenton, NJ –  Today the Burlington County times revealed to the public that Burlington County Democrat Freeholder candidate George Youngkin assaulted his ex-wife and reportedly tried to choke her. Records reflect that he also stalked another married woman and repeatedly harassed her until she was forced to seek police protection.

Youngkin and Congressional candidate Andy Kim have been running a close campaign, supporting one another.

Kim tweeted that he was proud to earn the support of Youngkin.

NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt released the following statement:

“George Youngkin’s behavior is despicable.  He must be denounced by both parties.  As Youngkin’s running mate and leader of the Democrat ticket in the region, Andy Kim must step up and call for Youngkin to drop out of this race.  Burlington County deserves better than to have a man with this kind of record on the ballot in November, or a Congressional candidate who condones it.”
