NJGOP Statement on Women’s History Month
.

Trenton, NJ –  New Jersey Republican State Committee Chairman Doug Steinhardt released the following statement celebrating March as Women’s History Month:

“The NJGOP is proud to celebrate the countless women who have worked tirelessly to make New Jersey and the United States better places to live, work and raise a family.

“Our state is rich with historical female leaders like Alice Paul, who was born in Mt. Laurel and went on to lead the women’s suffrage movement, ending gender discrimination in voting. We take time this March to honor their courage, sacrifice and commitment to advancing women’s rights everywhere and creating an environment that today sees more women in the workforce than ever before in our nation’s history.”
