Yesterday, Senator Republican Leader Tom Kean and Senate Republicans called for a select committee to immediately begin investigating the Murphy administration’s response to COVID-19, specifically their handling of long-term care facilities.

NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt echoed that call with the following statement:

“Phil Murphy has left New Jersey as a national outlier with over 6,700 dead seniors and all signs point to his failed policies as the reason. It has been over two months and Senate Democrats have failed to take action or even simply hold a hearing. It’s time to get to investigating Governor Murphy and make sure we insulate our most vulnerable population from his weak leadership and bad judgement.”
