NJGOP: Voters Deserve All The Information

In New Jersey, voters will be able to cast their ballots beginning September 19th, however the first Presidential debate is not scheduled until 10 days after on September 29th.

Debates are a critical component of any election, often offering the most raw insights into a candidate’s platform and ideas.

Therefore, the NJGOP is joining in requesting the Commission on Presidential Debates consider adding an additional, earlier debate in New Jersey this September.

NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt offered the following statement:

“This is an election surrounded with unprecedented circumstances. Throughout, the NJGOP has fought to ensure the process is fair and gives every voter the opportunity to make an informed and secure decision. The truth is, Joe Biden has avoided public scrutiny and the press since becoming the nominee. Vote by mail voters deserve to see for themselves that he is unfit for the Presidency.”
