Steinhardt to Liberal Quartet: Stand Up To Pelosi

.

Speaker Pelosi has officially declared a five week vacation for Congress, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This break comes despite ongoing negotiations for additional federal relief, and even some members like Congressman Malinowski declaring: “A lot of people aren’t going to be alive if we don’t get this right now.“
.
NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt offered the following comment:
.
“Want evidence that our Democrat led Congress is broken? Look no further than New Jersey’s liberal congressional quartet of Andy Kim, Josh Gottheimer, Tom Malinowski and Mikie Sherrill packing up and taking five weeks off from their day jobs, while as many as 1.3 million New Jerseyans were out of theirs. Nancy Pelosi told them that it’s ‘pencils down’, so Andy, Josh, Tom and Mikie walked away from the negotiating table, leaving New Jersey residents on their own. If there was ever a time for them to tell Nancy Pelosi ‘no’, this was it, but they didn’t. They failed. And, the next time they are made to choose between Pelosi and you, they’ll fail you again.”
