NJGOP: Another Day, Another Murphy Admin Scandal
.
A new report reveals patronage scandals under the Murphy Administration at the The Schools Development Authority are still going strong. A former employee is alleging she worked under a “hostile and bigoted” work environment and was denied promotions and then fired after she filed complaints of racial discrimination and retaliation.
.
These fresh allegations come under the leadership of Governor Murphy’s newly appointed CEO of the SDA, Manny Da Silva.
.
“Governor Murphy has created a culture of corruption,” said NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt. “We are at a point where patronage and gross negligence are part of the daily narrative in New Jersey State government. That new SDA CEO Manny Da Silva is facing allegations similar to his predecessor show that this is not a one off problem, but rather standard operating procedure within an Administration that doesn’t just tolerate patronage, cronyism and outright corruption, but ignores, accepts and even encourages it. 9 million New Jerseyans deserve better. The NJGOP will continue to shine a spotlight on Murphy Administration abuses and the disservice they do New Jersey taxpayers. Then, we will vote him out next November.”
