Ryan Peters

Ryan Peters

Ryan Peters was sworn in as an assemblyman in January 2018.

Peters is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in political science, later earning a law degree from Rutgers New Brunswick.

As a Navy SEAL he served on multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and currently is the lieutenant commander for SEAL Team 18 in the Naval Reserve.

Peters was a freeholder in Burlington County from 2016 to 2018, and served on the Mount Laurel Zoning Board from 2013 to 2014.

He lives in Hainesport with his wife, a daughter and two sons.

Jean Stanfield

Jean Stanfield

Jean Stanfield became an assemblywoman in January 2020.

A resident of Westampton, Stanfield became the first female sheriff of Burlington County in 2001. She was successfully re-elected to the post for six terms stepping down in 2019 to run for the New Jersey Assembly.

She joined the sheriff’s department in 1996 as an undersheriff and also briefly served as an assistant prosecutor in the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Stanfield received a law degree from Rutgers University.
